"Big changes"

  We have the doctors diagnosis that hubby has peripheral neuropathy & myopathy in his legs and his feet...that just means his nerves have gone haywire in his legs and they are not doing their job. His legs won't hold him up anymore for very long, and he may have to be in a wheelchair when we go anywhere.
In fact, we are using wheelchairs now  if he has to walk very far. We have an appointment with a new Neurologist hoping he will know something to help him regain his strength. The biggest problem is that his vertigo makes him very ill when he lays on his left side or his back....Ack!!! He is able to be on his back now for a little while. That will let them get an MRI done.He has to sleep on his right side all the time he is sleeping, and I can't imagine how he gets any sleep at all...can you imagine??

He loves his bible, and he studies it a lot. Sometimes we get together and do a bible study with some of the kids....this is his great-grandaughter in his lap, Emily Ann. Doing a bible study with Papa.

This is him with our only grandson, Jarred...well, shall we say several years ago.

Hubby seems to be having a great time...Jarred is not so sure...
The nutty kid behind me in the lowest picture is Jarred, he has a beautiful little wife and 2 kids now.
Whooooeee....where do the years go...?

 

He bought another (smaller) boat to work on. And he is about ready to take it out on the water.It won't be till it cools off a little bit...Oh my word!!! I don't like water and I don't like boats, but I love my man. So I guess I will have to get out there with him and do a little fishing.this fall.
It fairly breaks my heart to see him not able to do what he wants to do
Never,ever thought we would have to do this...just goes to show...ya never know.

But you know what...I forgot about God, and I forgot He can heal with one mighty touch. I am asking God to give him favor and to bless him, as we thank God for hearing us when we pray. amen!

The blessing comes before the miracle..

Remember the loaves and the fishes...there's a miracle in this somewhere, and I am claiming it.

Because we love the Lord....here at our house.
